"The waters, our fields."

Since the early days of House Lodovka, the family has maintained a strong interest in maritime affairs.  While House Surtova steadily moved inland, and focused more on politics, House Lodovka has steadily grown their fleet of ships on the Lake of Mists and Veils while increasing their influence along the shores of the lake and the trade routes across it.  The Lodovka family claims relatively little land in northern Brevoy, and much of what they do claim is unsuitable for farming, but the house has countless vessels hauling catches of fish and crab from the lake.  Lord Kozek Lodovka is at heart, a cunning old pirate with a love of the water, looking to do right by his house, his family, and his people.
