Aecora Silverfire is a war priestess in the service of Mother Moon and the leader of the matriarchal Nomen centaurs. While some of the younger members of the tribe still wish to continue to exclude outsiders and to prevent all contact with the “two leggeds”, Aecora has hoped to bridge the divides between humanity and the centaurs, believing that ultimately it could be in the best interests of both groups. She is also the mother of Xamanthe, a young, but supportive member of the Nomen tribe.
